We take our Food and Drink very seriously at PlaySpace! As well as serving the highest quality, freshly-ground, made-to-order-by-our-own-fair-hands cappuccino's, latte's and espresso's, our fresh food is a major feature too. In fact, many of our customers tell us it's one of the aspects they love best about PlaySpace.
We serve only healthy, home-cooked meals for you and your children. All our food is freshly prepared to order. We use only quality ingredients. No ands, ifs or buts.
Our chicken goujons, for example, are made by our chefs here at PlaySpace using fresh chicken breast, rolled in seasoned flour, dipped in egg and coated in breadcrumbs. That's it - no preservatives, no e-numbers. Our pasta sauce is also made fresh, with a recipe developed from a Jamie Oliver one which includes 5 different vegetables, all cunningly 'hidden' to combine maximum goodness with maximum tastiness!
And our superb stone-baked pizzas are individually hand-crafted for you by our chefs, ready for your choice of delicious toppings. You can even have a pizza to take away!
All the same principles hold true for our party food as well (see below) - with the small exception of hula hoops and party biscuits!

Where it's from
We care about food miles and where our food is sourced. Wherever possible, we rely on local suppliers - like our butcher John, and Simon, our fruit and veg supplier. All our meat and poultry is British. We use Welsh mature cheddar cheese and British bacon.

Coffee and Cake
We're very proud of our coffee, a delicious blend of beans ethically sourced in South America by our friends at Clifton Coffee Company and served by trained baristas. We also stock delicious Monin syrups - so if you've never tried a gorgeous gingerbread latte, now could be the time!
And no top notch coffee house can take itself seriously without a great selection of cakes to go with the coffee. You won't be disappointed at PlaySpace, where we normally have at least five varieties of yummy cakes, muffins and brownies to choose from.

Fresh Food to Take Away
Wish someone else would cook tonight? We are delighted to pack up any item from our menu for you to take home for tea (or lunch!), but naturally it’s our fresh, homemade pizza that is the most popular choice for a takeaway meal.
Our hand-stretched pizza may not always be perfectly round, but it’s always perfectly delicious! It will require no more than a couple of minutes in a hot oven once you get home, and a great meal for the kids or the whole family is ready with minimal effort. Just order your pizza and toppings at the café in the normal way, and within just a few minutes your round Italian beauty will be packed and ready to go.
Prices
Kids 7” pizza £3.50 (plus 40p per topping or 3 for 80p)
Adult 10” pizza £4.50 (plus 50p per topping or 3 for £1)
Family 13" pizza £10.00 including up to 3 toppings
(Actual sizes vary - hand-stretching is not an exact science!)
Need some inspiration? Well some of our favourite combinations are: Pepperoni and Green Pepper; Ham, Red Pepper and Olive; Ham, Mushroom and Red Onion; and Tuna, Sweetcorn and Red Onion. What’s your favourite?
What about side dishes? Our pizzas go particularly well with garlic mushrooms or garlic bread, but you can also choose coleslaw, chips or potato wedges. |
